Lance ARMSTRONG sets his sights on Nice

After his 7th place on Memorial Hermann Ironman 70.3 Texas, Lance Armstrong came in France to assist to the famous cyclist race Paris-Roubaix and support his former Team RadioShack.

During his stay in France, Lance Armstrong took the opportunity to go to Nice and refine his preparation for the Ironman France-Nice.

After a swim training next to the Nice swimmers qualified for the Olympic Games of London, like Camille Muffat and Yannick Agnel, Lance Armstrong celebrated his Easter weekend on the roads of the Ironman Nice bike circuit.

Accompanied by the Race Director of Ironman France-Nice, Yves Cordier, the leader of the Team RadioShack, Andy Schleck and the RadioShack Team Manager, Johan Bruyneel, Lance Armstrong ridded the 180km of the circuit, taking note of the technical passages and difficulties that await the 2500 participants on next 24thJune.

Lance Armstrong shared his impression on his twitter: “just rode the entire Ironman France course with Andy Schleck, Yves Cordier and Johan Bruyneel. Technical, lots of climbing/descending, hard!”
